A few pics of stuff

Saturday was my only day off this past weekend so M and I decided rather than sit at home and waste the day that we would visit the VA Living Museum to check out the critters. I had been there a couple of times and M had gone numerous times as a kid on field trips. It's just a fun place if you like animals and so much fun for the kids. We're big kids. We made our rounds and checked out everything. M had to practically drag me away from the turtles. I wasn't in the turtle sharing mood that day. :o) We saw everything and had a great time. As we were getting ready to leave we spotted the gift shop and decided to take a peek. We found the regular gift shop stuff...nothing special.....except this!

Yes, folks that's a flower pillow for our little flowers crib! I love it! We may not have a flower right now to use it but we WILL eventually and we when do he/she is gonna have the coolest pillow ever. :o)

And while we're talking about flowers check out the quilt that M's grandma made her.

She passed away many years ago but left this quilt to be given to M when she married. I guess her mom finally saw that this is as married as she's ever gonna get and gave her the quilt this past weekend. I think it's beautiful! Plus it's yellow and has flowers.

A sign? :o)

Here's another shot.

Remember I mentioned a turtle in every room? The nursery was no exception. :o)

Hey guys,
The pillow and the quilt are beautiful! I am so glad to see you guys posting again. I think it is wonderful that M's mom gave her the quilt - I firmly believe in signs - I would say that these are definitely positive ones of things to come.

For SURE a sign. That is great.

I LOVE turtles too. My wife won't let me have one. I want a big ol tortoise for my backyard. :)
She thinks it will dig out....or eat all of our grass.
WHATEVER ! Totally worth it.
