I'm happy for you both, but have just lost a hell of a lot of respect for you. Buying a gun for a child before she's even born?!? Have you no idea about the torment that gun use causes in your country? Please, please think about the way you want to bring this child up - with the terror of guns or the love of peace?

I appreciate your opinion and concern. However, make no mistake, I know more than most what guns do in this country.
I am a cop, firefighter and emt. I have worked homicides and cared for countless gunshot victims, stabbing victims and felonious assault victims. I have been shot at in the line of duty. We both also come from families who are avid hunters and appreciate the outdoors.
I am sorry you lost respect for us, that is your right. I believe in teaching responsible gun safety and our daughter will not even touch her first gun until she is old enough. It is a BB gun.
OMG OMG OMG I knew it. I knew this day was coming. What an adorable profile she has. And sucking her thumb even. That is about the best ultra sound I have ever seen. Love her already. it's been a long road, but I can see the reward now. She looks beautiful already. So happy for you. Happy Dance.
The world needs to read Kims Mom s book , then they will get the whole camo hunting thing ! makes me more nervous you guys are out in the woods picking mushrooms.... HA! Love to all three of you ! XOXOOXOXOXOOX
Wow, congrats. Just came upon your journey blog today and am cheering you on. We had several years of trying before having a rough pregnancy....which resulted in a perfect little girl born at 34 weeks in Dec. We're VA mommies too. Good Luck with your journey, it is SO worth it!
Congratulations to you both! This has been a long wait, but so worth it! This little girl is going to be one of the luckiest to be born to two wonderful Mothers who have been waiting so long for her!
