CD4

It's almost THAT time again!

Our swimmers arrived at the doctors office on Wednesday and we should, hopefully, be getting our +OPK around the 25th or so and then head in for IUI #5!

M has class, that she can't get out of, the 26th-28th, so I might be going alone. We're none too thrilled about that but we've talked about and decided not to skip this one. We just don't want to wait any longer.

Bring on the positives!

***

I just got called in my supervisors office. They said I've seemed stressed and not myself lately.

Ya think?!

When was the last time they had to chart their cycles, count down the days, buy sperm (with money they don't have) and have them inserted via a plastic syringe just to TRY to have a child?

They think I'm stressed and not myself now!?

They haven't seen anything yet!

Wait 'til the 2 week wait rolls around!

people who have never experienced the stress and anxiety over fertility issues could never possibly understand how you are feeling and what you have to go through month after month. they just don't 'get it.'

thinking of you and m... xo

Hi there, I just found your blog from someone else's that I was reading. I couldn't help but want to give you some support and tell you to try not to stress. I know it can be so hard. My partner and I tried for a couple of years to get pregnant. We did all the fertility drugs and paid HIGH prices for sperm, went in for IUI and never ended up pregnant. We were very stressed. Between not having the money for all this stuff and wondering how can this not be working when they are skipping the swimming part and just putting it right up the tube area? I didn't get it.
Anyway, we gave it a break, no fertility drugs, no high priced sperm. Went on vacation for a month. We were both relaxed. We found a known donor and did a home insemination while on vacation. And guess what? When we returned home, my partner was pregnant. We are now 15 and 1/2 weeks pregnant. It just amazes me b/c this was our last time to even try. If this time around didn't take, we were going to give up. I am soooo happy.
Hang in there. We are thinking of you and wishing you all the luck in the world.
