Ok, so we are still waiting to hear about a payment plan for the IVF but I did just hang up the phone with the nurse in charge of scheduling surgery appointments.
I go this Thursday at 1015 for a quick pre-op appointment and then back next Friday at 0630 (good grief that's early - we'll have to leave the house at 0530!) for the hysteroscopy. I'm not looking forward to this but if it gets us closer to a baby...them I'm there!

I totally forgot to mention, in a previous post, that not only did I lose 20 pounds but M has lost 30!

Our doctors appointment today lasted a whopping 10 minutes.
Short and sweet.
Dr. O wants me to have a hysteroscopy just to make sure everything looks alright in my uterus and then, as we expected, he suggested we move onto IVF.
And can I just say for the record that this stuff isn't cheap?!
Having said that, we're waiting on a phone call from the office to see about a payment plan of some kind before we continue.
Unless we win the lottery, coming up with $8,000 - $10,000 UP FRONT isn't an option for us.
So cross your fingers that the phone call comes with good news.

I'm a loser x 2
This has really gotten old.
We're negative again.
Am I broken?
What is the problem?
I'll call the RE tomorrow and schedule another consultation appointment. Only this time it'll be for IVF info. I have a feeling this will be our last hope. We certainly can't keep on like we have been.
But on a more positive note...
I lost 2 pounds this week. I have finally reached my 20 pound weight loss goal! It may have taken 4 months to do it but I DID IT!
